FAQ'S
Most frequent questions and answers
The APS understands that choosing a career path of being a professional speaker is quite a lonely vocation with few opportunities to learn how to better your offering. As such, the APS run a selection of programs throughout the year to help advise speakers on how to take their career path to the next level and provide that much craved feedback and learnings from fellow speakers.
Unfortunately, currently we’re unable to provide individual consultation over the phone or by email, the advertised APS training programs are the most optimal means of engaging with the APS. Phone and email are provided as a support service for anyone with specific questions regarding the Academy or registered attendees of courses.
Joining the Academy of Professional Speakers is completely free of charge, membership privileges include remaining up to date with all up coming APS events and regular value-added newsletters with insights relevant to anyone wishing to become a professional speaker.
The APS have designed their programs to ensure they’re as relevant to a speaker looking to launch themselves to professional speakers with established careers that are looking to protect their longevity and relaunch themselves.
Due to restricted availability on the APS courses, our standard terms and conditions are that we only offer a 30-day refund policy. However, do give the office a call if you would like to discuss your set of circumstances.
Currently the Academy is focussed on the UK market, but the APS hope in the future to provide tools for remote distance learning and running APS events across different countries.
